Roland Hausenbichl is founding partner of CRESCAT Advisory and before spent over 17 years in various managerial positions within Austrian and international companies. He also has several years of experience as member of supervisory boards in Europe, the USA, Russia, the Middle East and Asia. His most recent position was as Managing Director of the voestalpine Böhler Welding Group, a global industry group of 24 companies with 2000 employees and a turnover of >EUR 500 million.

Part of Roland’s role included positions of leadership for the functional divisions of sales / marketing / brand management, operations and product management as well as M&A. He also has experience in manufacturing industry, trade and services. His professional career began in a family company, which was ultimately sold in a successful transaction in 1994.

Roland studied Business Administration at Vienna University of Economics and Business, graduating with a Master of Business Administration not only from this institution but also from the University of Minneapolis. He successfully completed the Mergers, Acquisitions & Restructuring Program at the University of Los Angeles, as well as the Advanced Corporate Finance Program at London Business School.

Michael Hantinger has over 10 years of experience in the field of corporate finance, specialising in medium-sized, owner-run companies in Austrian banking institutes. His professional background also includes advising Austrian business owners on financing and investment matters.

In his latest role, he was responsible for supporting corporate customers at the Raiffeisen Bankengruppe.

He studied Economics & Management at the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) and the Asian Institute of Management in Manila/Philippines, specialising in Controlling & Finance. He is also a graduate of the FHWien University of Applied Sciences of WKW, where he studied Organisational Development, specialising in Change Management in Medium-Sized Companies.

Karin Pühringer has more than 8 years experience in corporate finance with focus on big and medium sized enterprises within the Austrian banking sector. In her responsibility she advised Austrian enterpreneurs comprehensively in corporate and investment financing topics.

In her most recent position she was deputy head of sales & origination with specialisiation on Asset Backed Finance structures in the respective corporation of the Raiffeisen Banking Group.

She studied Marketing & Sales at FH CAMPUS 02 in Graz and graduated in Executive Management at FH Vienna. The topic of her master thesis was related to the factors of credit approvals for small and medium sized enterprises.

Wenke Sommerauer has over 17 years of professional experience in accounting, tax consulting and auditing. As assistant to the management she was leading the Salzburg office and was responsible for accounting for a financial service provider. In her last position she worked as Accountant for a tax and auditing firm in Salzburg.

Wenke Sommerauer is Chartered Accountant and graduated at the Academy of Chartered Accountants and Auditors of Austria.

Gudrun Strahner-Weiss has more than 16 years of experience in corporate finance with focus on medium-sized, owner-led companies within Austrian banking institutes. Her responsibilities comprised real estate project finance as well as advising Austrian business owners on financing and investment matters and wealth management.

In her most recent position she was responsible for supporting corporate customers at the Raiffeisen Bankengruppe.

She studied Corporate Consulting and Accounting at the University of Mittweida (MSc) and graduated at the Danube University in Krems with focus on Real Estate Management (MSc).

Oliver Böhm is a founding partner of CRESCAT and has more than 18 years of professional experience in the area of corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and private equity.

During his professional career he spent several years as investment director of a pan-European private equity fund and was responsible for the corporate finance activities of a medium-sized auditing firm. Furthermore, he headed the corporate development department of an international industrial holding company and was managing director of a fund company specializing in media finance. He began his professional career as a project manager M & A of an international listed holding company.

Since 2008, Oliver Böhm has been a lecturer at European Business School (EBS) und is author of several publications in the field of company valuation and corporate finance.

Oliver Böhm studied in Germany and the UK and holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh as well as a Master of Mergers & Acquisitions (LL.M.) from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In addition, he is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

Stephan Huber has 20 years of professional experience in corporate transactions, investment management and business consulting.

Most recently, he was managing director of a family office, responsible for finance, corporate development and M&A. Prior to this role, he spent almost 15 years with Deutsche Beteiligungs AG – one of Germany’s leading medium-sized investment companies – where he ultimately became a member of the executive board. In this capacity, he has held positions on various supervisory and advisory boards in portfolio companies. Before his involvement in the private equity industry, he worked for a number of years in a medium-sized business consultancy specialising in restructuring and controlling for a number of years, as well as in aircraft construction at Dornier.

He graduated from Munich University of Applied Sciences with degrees in both Engineering and Industrial Engineering.

Roland Kupka has more than 30 years of banking experience in leading management positions within sales and credit risk management, including 10 years in an international environment for a major Scandinavian bank, for which he was responsible for business activities in Germany in his function as a member of the management board. Roland Kupka possesses in-depth experience in structuring and implementing of integrated financing concepts and working with medium-sized companies as well as their owner families.

Roland Kupka has been lecturing and teaching at various universities for many years in the fields of SME, corporate and structured finance as well as credit risk management.

Roland Kupka holds a degree in banking from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Allfinanz Akademie Hamburg, Fernuniversität Hagen, and University of Wales.

Holger Linn has more than 25 years of professional experience in the areas of private equity and acquisition finance.

Before founding CRESCAT, he held various leading positions - mostly as partner - with pan-European and international Private Equity Funds. Before moving into the Private Equity business, he worked in the structured finance department of Dresdner Bank and was a senior consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick Management Consultants with a focus on corporate finance and company valuations.

Holger Linn holds a masters degree in business administration and computer science from Technischen Hochschule Darmstadt.

Peter Müller has more than 25 years of international management and consulting experience. He started his career with an American industrials group, where he was responsible for marketing and sales in the D / A / CH region. He was later a managing director in this group for many years.

Furthermore, Peter Müller has extensive international M&A and transaction experience, which he acquired as a long-time partner of a leading international advisory firm for mergers and acquisitions. During this time, he successfully closed numerous cross-border transactions and advised both medium-sized companies and well-known groups.

Peter Müller studied business administration at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences.

Dr Ulrich Neuert has over 20 years of professional experience as a managing director of medium-sized companies, as well as in the fields of investment management and corporate transactions.

He began his professional career at an auditing firm that specialised in medium-sized companies. He also has over 10 years of operational experience as a board member and managing director within the media and telecommunications industry throughout Germany, the USA and various European countries (including companies such as Bertelsmann, AOL Europe, Sport1 and UPC/Liberty Media). As an independent business consultant, he has been responsible for transactions within medium-sized companies as well as restructuring across various sectors.

Dr Ulrich Neuert was the initiator and founding partner of Tricadis Capital, a financial investor for the German-speaking market focusing on special cases.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne, is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development, and gained his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Marburg.
